The founder of Made4URugs.com is Glenn Scher who grew up in the Carpet and Flooring retail world alongside his parents and brother. “Our parents started their business in 1974 and my brother and I learned through the years about all aspects of the carpet business.” At nearly 12 years old Glenn learned how to run the machines that edged the carpet.
Fast forward through the years Glenn decided to create a business of his own. That was when Bind-A-Rug was born. Bind-A-Rug was a mobile carpet binding service that catered to carpet stores, designers, architects, and homeowners. Creativity is enjoyable to him.
Within 2 years his company worked with over 90 companies in the NJ, NY, and DE areas. His company was well respected because of the passion and persistence to always put his clients first. As time went on Glenn opened his own Retail Carpet and Flooring store on January 1, 2010. This gave his kids the know-how about family business so history could repeat itself.
Their family business was created by Glenn and his wife with 3 key components in mind.
All 3 were accomplished as time went on.
They now have over 550 5-star google reviews and is NJ’s largest in stock carpet store. The two companies merged with their retail operation where they create and fabricate area rugs to their captive audience.
There are two words that Glenn lives by.
